From the Archives......Apostle of Hustle

I was digging around the other day....(can you call it digging around when it is a bunch of 1's and 0's on a hard drive?)......and I came across this footage. One of the first live projects we worked on since I dove into the video world. I heard Apostle of Hustle was coming to town and rather than just take my chances showing up with a camera, I contacted Andrew Whiteman's label and asked for proper permission. The people at Arts and Crafts were amazing.....they offered to hook me up with an interview, so I enlisted interviewer extraordinaire Drew Skitt from "London Calling", a local music show. The above footage of "Blackberry" from the 2009 album "Eats Darkness" is being shown here for the first time in its entirety.

The interview and segment were grand......after some chats about sneakers, William S Burroughs, Alice in Wonderland.......we went back to Andrew's van behind the venue and proceeded to knock back a fine scotch and the conversation went into overdrive. Easily one of my favourite evenings since the whole Spur of the Moment journey began. Enjoy!
